🔹The 30,000-square-meter facility is part of a €440 million investment in Ireland, creating more than 800 jobs in Kilkenny and an additional 200 roles in Donegal.
🔹This is now the global center of excellence for Abbott’s diabetes care manufacturing, producing FreeStyle Libre 3 sensors.
🔹 The facility incorporates sustainability-focused design, including solar panels, rainwater harvesting, and all-electric operations.
Abbott’s FreeStyle Libre portfolio can now support over 6 million people across 60+ countries, with this expansion helping to meet growing global demands.
